Named after Rick Simpson, RSO Oil is the homemade recipe he posted online after claiming the oil successfully treated his skin cancer. Rick was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma back in the early 2000s. FECO is often mistaken for RSO but is very different. The difference between FECO & RSO is the method used for extraction. FECO specifically is extracted using the Ethanol Extraction method with the use of grain alcohol, which is safer than RSO method which uses isopropyl alcohol.
When comparing FECO vs RSO, RSO’s extraction is considered dangerous because of the potential risk to ingest the solvent. The solvent can be converted to acetone in the liver and therefore be incredibly toxic. High grade equipment is needed when making both FECO and RSO. We offer a vast selection of premium quality FECO tincture products.
